CADCA Forum

 

For the past few years, AC4C staff has been in charge of arranging the state meeting (for all Iowa attendees) and organizing the visit with our legislators.   This involves

providing information to our members,  sharing up to date meeting times and locations, and meeting with CADCA representatives.  AC4C staff uses this opportunity to connect our members from across the state and provide the "how to's" for our new comers.  This year the Capitol Hill Day will be Wednesday, February 8th.  More information can be found  at this link.

If you plan on attending the CADCA forum in February, please email us your names, organization and contact information.  The dates / times have been known to change during the forum because of weather or schedule conflicts so it is important for you to share a cell number also.  If you have any questions, please contact Jodee - [email protected].

Day on the Hill

The policy committee has been working on public service announcements concerning marijuana and is starting to plan the Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Day on the Hill, which is  February 23, 2017.   

The tentative agenda for the day is as follows:

Arrive at 10:00- sign in at front desk 

10:15-11 AM      Pre-Training for Youth at Jessie Parker Building

11-11:15 AM      Transfer to Capitol

11:15                   Move upstairs for press conference

11:30-12:00PM   Press Conference in Rotunda- "If you care about...

Noon                   Lunch / meet with legislators
