IA BC London Virtuoso Awards 2017 - Call for Entry

It’s that time of year again! Call for Entry for the 2017 Virtuoso Awards is officially open. Committee members have been hard at work planning for this year’s celebration, going above and beyond to bring you an evening full of fun and excitement.

We know the entry process is often a stressful time, balancing work while compiling winning work plans all at once. To make things as convenient and comprehensive as possible, all entries can now be submitted entirely online! With the use of an intuitive online platform, you will not only save trees, but you’ll no longer have to go through the hassle of hand-delivering your entries.

The March 3rd deadline for submission will be here before you know it. With that, make sure to start thinking about what you’d like to submit. What better way to highlight your work than with a Virtuoso Award?

For more information on any and all things Virtuoso Awards, visit virtuosoawards.com for details.

1)    Where do you work? What is your role, including responsibilities and projects?

Following an active, full-time communications career, where I was privileged to serve in many key roles and community projects across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors, I happily transitioned to semi-retirement in 2015. Since then, I have been stimulating my creativity as writer-editor for a monthly community magazine called Neighbours of Riverbend highlighting the amazing people and stories found in the west end of London.

I also fulfill a part-time role as a writer-in-residence at Fanshawe College, with a specific portfolio liaising with its Centre for Research and Innovation.
