2018 AEA PURCHASING CONTRACT

Erb's Technology Solutions has been awarded technology items on the AE P urchasing Catalog for  2018. The items Erb's won on this contract include the entire Dell Chromebook lineup, Bretford Carts, Gumdrop Cases, C2G Cables, CyberPower UPS's and a variety of Tripp Lite products. The AEA Purchasing contract is competitively bid out which eliminates having to go out to bid for any of these items! 

Erb's was the only Iowa based technology reseller to be awarded items on this contract, giving Iowa K-12 school districts, colleges, cities, counties and state departments 
the ability to buy local and keep the tax dollars in Iowa!

SPECTRE AND MELTDOWN: WHAT YOU NEED  TO KNOW GOING FORWARD

IT STAFF SUPPORT IS CRITICAL FOR SUCCESS IN 1-TO-1 CLASSROOMS

We have all had conversations with the school/district IT folks that were not as wonderful as we might have wanted. And, we may have walked away from those conversations thinking non-wonderful thoughts about the IT folks - to put it mildly. 

Why do IT staff seem to always say "no?" Taking a lesson from kindergarten, where we learned that talking with others is a good way to better understand them, we set up some  lunches with IT staff from several different schools and districts. 

Our thought was this: IT have their priorities, their responsibilities, their resources. If we could better understand those priorities, responsibilities, and resources, then maybe we could work together better
