Dear Members,

What a wonderful year it has been! We enjoyed spending time with so many of you at our Christmas Party and want to extend a special thank you to everyone who participated in our Sub4Santa this Holiday season. We were able to offer assistance to more families than ever before because of your support.

2015 has already proved to be a major victory for our community. After many years of pressing for legislation, the Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act was passed and has come into effect this year. This means that you will be able to create tax-free savings accounts for your children with special needs without having to worry about them losing SS benefits down the road. Many UAF members have played an active role in driving this legislation as they've recognized what it will mean for their children. Please take a moment to read about the ABLE act and how it can affect your family.

We are excited for all that the coming year has to offer. Be sure to stay posted about new events and programs that will be promoted here in our newsletter and on the Members Only Facebook Page

Much love,

Mariesa Bergin
