  • Added 48 New Businesses to our growing organization
  • Provided 12 Networking/Business Builder luncheons with a minimum of 50 people attending each month -Topics included: Active Shooter Response, Earthquake Preparedness, K-9 Program, Human Resource Updates and More!
  • Hosted the State of the City Luncheon
  • Facilitated 9 Ribbon Cuttings
  • Provided Legislative updates to businesses
  • Hosted Public Safety Luncheon
  • Supported several development projects in front of City Council
  • Donated $1,500 to the K-9 program through the Golf Tournament proceeds
  • Sponsored "Concerts in the Park" Summer Series
  • Launched Emerging Leaders Social Hour, providing additional networking opportunities after hours
  • Organized 3 Morning Mixers highlighting local Chamber businesses
  • Co-Sponsored 4 E-Waste events with the City of Covina
  • Partnered with SCORE to provide 50+ counseling sessions at the Chamber office
  • Sponsored the Taste of Covina - promoting 25+ local restaurants and breweries
  • Added Member Events feature to our website calendar - giving members an additional benefit

Sales and Use Tax Rate Decreases January 1, 2017

Voter approved Proposition 30, The Schools and Local Public Safety Protection Act of  2012, which imposed the one quarter of one percent (0.25 percent) temporary statewide sales and use tax rate expires on December 31, 2016.
