Member News & Updates
New Member Scott Barnett
I just signed up as a member to JSRC and  I have been running for about 20 years, and have done smaller local races (e.g. Spring Lake Five) for a long time. Over the past five years, I've gotten into Triathlons. I did my first Spring in 2013, and in 2017 I did my first Half-Ironman. I will be doing my first Ironman in 2018 as well as my first full marathon! It's a big year. I'm also a member of Manolo's Maniac's. Manolo's Maniac's has run RunAPalooza for three years (2018 will be my fourth year). I know some members of the club from this event and they are all awesome, so I figured this year I should join! I live in Marlboro,
My best time in the SL5 is 36:15. I doubt I'll ever get there again. I've run two half-marathon's-both in under two hours. My goal is to do my first marathon in under four hours, and the marathon portion of the Ironman in under five (ideally 4:30.)
I'm in the Computer industry - Enterprise Software. I love all forms of sport (besides the obvious running/biking/swimming). I also enjoy Tennis, and used to really enjoy Softball, Basketball and Football, but have slowed down as my body doesn't recover from them as quickly. I volunteered with my town's First Aid Squad for 15 years. I volunteer with SCORE and help small businesses with their online marketing strategies.

Sad News:  Edward Graff
The club offers our sincere condolences to long-time JSRC member Jessie Joseph on the passing of her father, Edward Graff. Mr. Graff passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017. Obituary can be found here.
