KCFC Member Bane Promoted at Cummins Inc.
Brian Bane with Cummins Inc. was recently promoted to Director of Operations for the Ohio Valley, which includes Branch locations in Evansville, IN, Louisville, KY, Hazard, KY, Charleston, WV, Cincinnati, OH and Columbus, OH. His promotion is the result of the recent acquisition by Cummins Inc. of 15 of the 16 Cummins distributors across North America, and the plans to acquire the 16th distributor later this year. Speaking about the  acquisitions , Bane said, " Having 100% ownership in the Distribution network will allow us to truly become One Cummins across North America and around the Globe." Congratulations to Brian and Cummins Inc.!
KCFC to Host Training for First Responder Training in Louisville, March 10 - 11

Kentucky Clean Fuels Coalition will host a First Responder Safety Training for Alternative Fuel Vehicles in Louisville on March 10-11 at the Kentucky Derby Museum. This training, offered by the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium, is designed to "train the trainer" on how to safely deal with alternative fuel vehicles that have been involved in an accident. KCFC will send more information about this training as details develop. 
Spring Membership Meeting and Green Fleets Award Celebration to be held March 17 in Louisville

The KCFC Spring Membership Meeting will be held March 17 at The Foundry at Glassworks. This meeting will include the presentation of the Green Fleets of the Bluegrass awards. KCFC to Attend ACT Expo May 2-5

Melissa Howell will be attending the Advanced Clean Technologies (ACT) Expo in Long Beach, CA, May 2-5. This event brings together clean transportation stakeholders from all weight classes and alternative fuel types to share new technologies that reduce costs and emissions.
