COME WOOL IT UP WITH US AS WE CELEBRATE LA VITA LOPI

JANUARY 29TH FROM 1:00 - 3:00

We are passing on our love for Lopi yarns purchased directly from Iceland and processed completely in Iceland. Lopi sheep were first introduced to Iceland when the Vikings arrived in 874 and have continued to provide the country with a fiber more air than spun yarn, with insulation and water-repellent properties which allows moisture to pass through the fibers away from the skin, keeping you dry and comfortable.
Icelandic knitwear synonymous with the Lopapeysa or Lopi Sweater characterized by a yoke design are not only for the Icelanders but a perfect New England staple.

This January and February we will be celebrating Lopi Love with a Trunk Show and gathering provided by Berroco, who now represents Istex Lopi, on January 29th from 1:00 to 3:00 and a LOPI KAL in February. Lopi purchases over $50.00 for the the January event or KAL will be entered into a special raffle to be drawn on January 29th.

Stop in in January to choose or special order your Istex Lopi in three weights for our LOPI KAL featuring:

Alafosslopi for Jared Floods Spearhead

KAL participants will receive 15% off on their yarn purchase.

KAL BEGINS SATURDAY FEBRUARY 4TH FROM 2:00 to 3:30pm.

Check out our Pinterest La Vita Lopi board for some of the best           Lopi/Lopapeysa colorwork and designs.
