Nancy Chippendale's Dance Studios is proud to announce the addition of Irish Step Dancing to our dance program. This 8-week session will be held on Saturdays, January 12th-March 2nd. Both hard shoe and soft shoes styles will be taught.
Saturday, January 12th-Saturday, March 2nd
2:30-3:30 6-10 year old boys & girls
3:30-4:30 11-18 year old boys & girls
Dancers should wear a leotard and tights of any style/color. If you already have ballet shoes and tap shoes, please bring both. If you do not have any dance shoes, please wear socks to the first class. Dancers must sign up for this session by Saturday, January 5, 2013.
Cost: $140 for 8-week session
CHIPPS Discount: $100 for 8-week session (all current students)
Full payment due upon registration and is non-refundable/transferrable

Kristina Carberry, Nancy Chippendale's alumni and current faculty member, recently returned home from Germany proudly accessorized with multiple medals from the 2012 World Tap Dance Championships; which is held by the International Dance Organization (IDO).
Kristina competed in the Adult Female Solo Division as part of Team USA against dancers from over thirty countries. After several rounds, she earned her way to the finals, which was broadcasted on German National Television. She anxiously stood on stage during the awards ceremony and listened as other dancers' names were announced for seventh through third place. Standing as one of the last two dancers, she became overwhelmed with emotion and pride. After much suspense, the German announcer presented the Silver Medal to the dancer from Switzerland beside her and she realized she had won. Kristina was crowned the Gold Medalist World Tap Champion.
