Dear WIT Members and Friends of WIT, 

On behalf of the WIT board, we hope you all enjoyed the holiday season with family and friends...and had some record breaking sales. We're looking forward to kicking off 2015 with a jam packed events calendar including the launch of WIT's Hong Kong Chapter. Thanks to Jacqueline Vong, Emily Chung & Irene Li who have been planning our inaugural event which will be held on January 14th. We'd like to invite everyone to join us from near and far to celebrate and strengthen WIT overseas. If you can't make it to Hong Kong for the event, be sure to use our concierge service to meet up with local members next time you are there. 

Our Wonder Women Awards Dinner is also right around the corner, on February 15th in NYC. Genna Rosenberg, Shannon Gray, Lourdes Arocho and their committee are doing an amazing job with the planning. We're expecting over 500 attendees this year and have some amazing sponsors including Hasbro, Mattel, Nickelodeon and Disney. Don't forget to purchase your tickets early and nominate the amazing women you work with, as our early bird pricing ends on January 15th. This is sure to be a can't miss event

Our members will also be connecting at Nuremberg Toy Fair where they'll get to meet our chairs of Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia. We'll be sending event details out soon.

Merge Design & Interactive Named 
Creative Agency of Record

We are thrilled to announce Merge Design & Interactive as 

WIT's new agency of record. As our creative partner, Merge 

will focus on developing WIT's brand identity, and will help 

improve member engagement via an integrated marketing, 

and digital communications campaign. This initiative will 

include print and online storytelling, social media 

marketing programs, as well as website and interactive

Michelle Underhill: First Editor In Chief

WIT is excited to announce our first Editor In Chief, Michelle Underhill. After 

earning a bachelor's degree in imaginative writing, Michelle 

began her career in the toy 

industry writing toy instruction 

booklets and packaging copy. 

Since then, she has held a 

variety of positions, including 

marketing and sales, but she's 

always remained involved in 

product development. She has developed and written books for infants and toddlers and is currently Project Leader at Index Promotions.

We need your help to "womanthe WIT booth at New York

Toy Fair.  WIT depends upon its members to help staff the 

booth and answer questions people may have about the 

organization. Working the booth will allow you to meet 

many fabulous WIT members and speak with people who 

stop at the booth to learn about WIT. WIT is seeking 

volunteers for February 17.

and John Ostler, her partner at Bughouse, recently announced 

the launch of  Super Nano Trucks 

iPad app, an innovative new 

gender-neutral digital "toy" that 

steers kids into a world of 

construction, creative play, and exploration, while providing 

parents with the ability to manage 

their kids' online playtime. Heather 

rolls onto the toy and game scene 

with an app that combines her love of toys with her extensive background managing digital products, from websites to mobile
