2017 Reading Challenge

The purpose of the reading challenge is to help readers choose materials from outside of their typical reading "bubble" in order to find new literary likes and interests as well as to encourage discussion among participants.

The 2017 reading challenge will offer participants the option of reading one or two books each month chosen from either of the two challenge lists. You may choose either one book from one list or one book from each list per month, but may not choose both from the same list nor read ahead. Of course, you may read as many books as you like in any given month (we encourage that!), but they cannot be counted for challenge purposes. Happy reading!

Friends of Collegedale Public Library
Personalized Bricks

Friends of Collegedale Public Library invite you to show your love for the library by purchasing a memorial paving brick! Personalize each paving stone in honor of family members who treasure books as much as you do.

These bricks make wonderful legacy gifts for children or grandchildren who benefit regularly from the excellent programs and resources our local library provides. The first bricks will be placed outside the library entrance, in the area surrounding the flagpole.

To purchase a memorial paver, just fill out a form at the front desk. Proceeds from this project will help fund resources such as Rosetta Stone and Tennessee READS, which benefit all local library users.
