Bryan Hulbert - TULSA, Okla. (September 27, 2018) The starting gun has sounded, and entries are already coming in for the 34th annual Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout. Among those pre-entered is Jason McDougal.
Setting the 2018 event on fire with a record run to three Golden Drillers in Stock Non-Wing, A-Class, and Outlaw Non-Wing action, Jason is slated to compete in four classes during the 2019 event. Since grabbing his first three Shootout triumphs, the Broken Arrow shoe has had a breakout year with his first USAC National Sprint Car victory coming on September 1, 2018 at Federated Auto Parts Speedway in Pevely, Mo. before following that up with another Non-Wing victory at Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Ind. the following night.
Taking place at Tulsa Expo Raceway, located inside the River Spirit Expo Center, the 2019 edition of the Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout moves in starting with Early Parking on December 31, 2018, and goes green on January 2, 2019, with racing through January 5, 2018. With entry to the "Mecca of Micros" opening on September 25, a field of 197 entries has already poured in from 100 drivers. Those entered so far represent 76 Municipalities, 18 States, and two Countries.

http://www.tulsashootout.com, or by fax to (918) 836-5517. Entries done by phone can be done calling (918) 838-3777, Monday-Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (CT). Entries will not be accepted via email or social media.
Cost is $100 per class. The deadline for the discounted entry fee is Wednesday, December 5, 2018. After that, entries will go up to $125 and will be cut off on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. Anyone wanting to enter after that must do so during move in on January 1, 2019.
The lineup for the 2019 event will include A-Class (Wing, Non-Wing, and Restricted), Outlaw (Wing and Non-Wing), and Junior Sprints as well as the new Xcel 600cc Modifieds for an event run of seven classes.
New for the 2019 event in all classes, RaceCeivers will be mandatory. They will be available at the event. Frequency will be 454.000.
