A NEW FEATURE has been added to

Middle School Open House
& LRSD Open Enrollment
Middle School Open House Nights:
  • November 2: Dunbar, Henderson, & Pulaski Heights, 6 p.m.
  • November 4: Cloverdale, Forest Heights, Mabelvale, & Mann, 6 p.m.
LRSD Open Enrollment:
The following are changes from previous years of holding open enrollment in January and February. Please note:
  • The LRSD Open enrollment period for P3-P4 is October 19-30.
  • Open enrollment for Forest Heights STEM Academy will be November 9-13.
  • Open enrollment for magnet and specialty schools will be November 16-20.
  • K-12 Address Changes will be December 7-18.
  • P3 - 12th Grade school assignment mail-out will be March 4, 2016.
Attendance zone schools do not require you to go to an enrollment location. You are "rolled up" into your appropriate attendance zone school assuming promotion. For example, my three kids go to Jefferson, Pulaski Heights, and Central because I live in the attendance zone for those schools. I do not have to do anything at enrollment time and they are rolled up into the next grade/school.

Please email me at melissa.brown@lrsd.org if you have any questions.

Thank you!
Melissa Brown,
School Counselor

Please Complete Short ASO Music Academy Survey
The Arkansas Symphony (ASO) will be offering after-school music classes at their new offices located at 501 North Main Street, Little Rock, beginning in 2016. They are hopeful that these classes will include both string and choral studies, and grow eventually to include a variety of instruments.

They are asking for your help in determining how much interest there is in an ASO Music Academy by completing the survey link below.

The purpose of the survey is to 1) determine if there is interest in an after-school music program. 2) assess current musical offerings in the downtown area and 3) determine if you would be interested in your child attending now or in the future.

Completion of the survey DOES NOT OBLIGATE YOU TO PARTICIPATE.

THANK YOU!
