Norwich JellyMonday 14th May 2012
The next Norwich Jelly is on Monday 14th May 2012 at Business Revolution, a new co-working hub, which recently opened at the King's Centre, King Street, Norwich.

If you work on your own, and would occasionally like some company for chat, laughs, tips and someone to bounce ideas off, come and join us.

Please forward to anyone you think might be interested.

Norwich Jelly is held on the second Monday of each month. The day is split into two sessions: morning and afternoon. You can stay the whole day by booking both. Please plan to be there for as much of the time as possible, two and a half hours or more in any one session. If it is already full, put yourself on the waiting list. There are always some cancellations on the weekend before.

Please forward to anyone else that could benefit from co-working with Norwich Jelly. Here are two articles that explain what a Jelly is like and how Norwich Jelly was set up.

Click the date/time to book your FREE place on any of the upcoming sessions. If you find you can't make it, please let us know as soon as possible as there will be a waiting list and someone can take your place. Please be considerate: if you book a place and cancel on the morning of the Jelly or just don't turn up, you are denying someone else a place. For some reason, the mornings are much busier than the afternoons. So if you can, try the afternoon session, or book yourself in for the whole day.
What is a Jelly?
  • Jelly is a casual monthly co-working event, where homeworkers, freelancers, small business owners and office based people who want a change of environment once in a while can get together with their laptops once a month to have a change from their usual workplace, meet some new people and work together in a social environment.
  • Jelly is mainly about work with a bit of chat, sharing ideas, helping others with business issues, passing on tips and maybe even collaborating on the birth of a new project.
  • Jelly is not networking - the aim is not to meet new clients, pitch your business or try to sell - anyone blatantly doing this will NOT be popular. Jelly was started in the States and is now increasingly popular in the UK with over 30 active co-working groups already.
  • If you ever feel isolated in your home office/work office and want to meet some other like-minded people in a different work environment, then Jelly is for you!
  • You can come along for the morning, the afternnoon or the whole day or just some of the time: whatever suits you best. We suggest that you come for at least 2.5 hours to make the most of it.
  • There is space for 10 people. You do need to book your FREE place.
  • There is free wifi, ample power points, and a good mobile phone coverage. Plus a great cafe!
  • The Jelly is FREE to attend: many thanks to Business Revolution, a co-working hub based at the King's Centre, King Street, Norwich for making the room available free of charge.
  • There are two good car parks nearby costing about £5/day - Rose Lane and Rouen Road - see car park planner
  • Norwich Jelly is held on the second Monday of the month.
  • Jellies are run entirely by volunteers and has no external funding.
Kind regards
