Home of the JFHML Friends Foundation and Backstreet Books

Dear Humans,
I used to be the internet.
Love, Your Library
Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library

Love Your Library!
Nothing makes the staff of the JFHML happier than coming to work each day. The decorative lighting is turned on, the doors are unlocked and the day begins. We feel as though friends walk through the doors. And they do. We are happy and proud to serve our community.
February is a GREAT month to celebrate libraries and their place within the community. If you haven't tried an e-book, let us help you get your device set up  and ready to access our 2600 e-book titles! Come and enjoy an Author Talk or soap making presentation (*see our HOT READS SIZZLIN' THURSDAY link below!)  Challenge yourself by signing up for Hot Reads for Cold Nights...Browse our stacks and our Bookstore too! Use one of our computers to access tax info, update a resume or refine your skills with social media.

Think about joining our JFHML Friends Foundation-the group that keeps all of the cogs turning here at the Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library.

During February, the JFHML Friends will be conducting their 2017 annual Membership Drive. All of the dollars raised directly impact your community Library. Popular programs such as Story Hour, Summer Reading, Hot Reads, American Girl Doll Tea, Author Talks and more are all made possible by the contribution of our Friends.
Please join with us as we strive to provide the finest in services, technology, materials, programming and resources to YOU, our dear patrons. So many opportunities!

Do you have a story to share about your Library Experience? We would love to hear from you!
Samples of patron stories are on our NEWLY UPDATED website at www.hallettlibrary.org. They are also on display at the JFHML. Share your story in writing or via email to : [email protected].
Love,
Your Library

There is ABSOLUTELY nothing like a TRUE LIBRARY LOVER!
