Jesus Christ Is Coming To Town! 12/20/15

9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD DAY/NIGHT!!!
The first thing I done this morning was read Pastor Bilbrey's excellent sermon for today:
He inspired MY message today!!! BIG SMILE!!
I am almost afraid/ashamed/SCEERED (scared) to say "I AM AT REST/PEACE" today.
As a "TYPE A" personality, I find it hard, if almost impossible to relax/let down my guard-how bout you!!??
I constantly desire to ACCOMPLISH something/anything!
As A Christian, I well know:
Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)
23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Ephesians 6:11 (KJV)
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
I am also WELL AWARE of:
1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
But as a person made of flesh and blood, I KNOW that one cannot truly rest encased in the "ARMOUR OF GOD!"
One CANNOT rest/sleep well with OUR "loins girt about with truth, having on the breastplate of righteousness, feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace,"
All the while holding "the shield of faith," WEARING a "HELMET of Salvation," and lying beside a SHARP "SWORD of the Spirit!!!!!"
SOMETIMES we must simply lay "down and sleep!!"

5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
I actually SLEPT all night last night!!
Most nights I am UP from 1 AM till the wee hours of the morning with Amanda and try to catch a few winks from 7-9:30 AM.
But Amanda SLEPT all night last night-PRAISE THE LORD!!

I AWAKED (PRAISE THE LORD) FOR THE LORD SUSTAINED ME!!!
IF you are reading this, the Lord SUSTAINED you also-AMEN!!??
PRAISE THE LORD!!
OUR Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ well knows we NEED rest:
Matthew 11:28 (KJV)
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:29 (KJV)
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Jesus also KNOWS that WE, His disciples MUST rest:
Mark 6:31 (KJV)
31 And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

JESUS CHRIST IS COMING TO TOWN!!!"
TODAY, take a REST!!!!

YOU deserve a REST/BREAK!!

TODAY, take a break- "CEASE FROM YOUR OWN WORKS, AS GOD DID FROM HIS!"
ENJOY the holidays and as my beloved son Joshua OFTEN reminds me, "Dad STRENGTHEN THE THINGS THAT REMAIN!!!"
