Passover Closings

The Jewish Federation will be closed the following days for Passover.
Friday, April 22, 2016 and  Friday, April 29, 2016.

Please note the Kosher Food Pantry will be closed during Passover, 
beginning Thursday, April 21, and lasting through Monday, May 2.
During this time we will be unable to accept
any food donations for the pantry.

Segura Arts Studio (formerly Segura Publishing Company) prides itself on providing an artistic outlet to marginalized populations as they use art to  express concerns of abuse of power, culture wars, race, gender and citizenship.

Our Yom Hashoah program in 2016 focuses on redemption and triumph with the showing of the documentary, One Flight For Us. Our guest speaker Avi Maor, helped to organize the flight over Auschwitz as part of the 2003 International Holocaust Remembrance Day and took part in the flight by piloting one of the planes. 

Be sure to join us as we hear Avi Maor's first hand experience of a flight that made a clear statement of NEVER AGAIN.
Name Readers Needed for
Unto Every Person There Is A Name

Beginning at 10:00 AM

Our community's participation in the worldwide Holocaust memorial project, "Unto Every Person There is a Name" will take place on Thursday, May 5 at the County Courthouse. Name readings will begin at 10:00 AM. At 12:00 we will pause our name reading for our candle lighting ceremony and a presentation by our guest speaker Avi Maor.  

If you would like to volunteer to read names please contact the Jewish Federation office at 574-233-1164 to schedule a time to read.
Michiana Jewish Film Festival Tickets

Tickets for the 6th Annual Michiana Jewish Film Festival are now available for purchase through the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center Box Office.
