Federation Programs
TT
About 5 years ago, we announced to you that we were engaged. The Talmud Torah Society and the Jewish Federation of Edmonton have had a long courtship, and we are happy to announce that we are taking steps to finalize the building of a new Jewish Community Centre which will be attached to the Talmud Torah School.
The Boards of Directors of each of the Jewish Federation of Edmonton and the Talmud Torah Society have approved a road map for negotiations of an agreement for a shared use facility based on the framework provided to us from community consultations that occurred at the very beginning of this process. The timelines are aggressive and if all goes according to plan, our final agreement and draft structural framework will be presented to the membership of each organization for approval in early December.
The Road Map for negotiations will be updated frequently and is available, together with ongoing updates, at  www.jewishedmonton.org or Click here . We will continue to provide you with updates on the JFed e-weekly as well.

We look forward to sharing with our progress with you.

Steve Shafir & Michael Sadovnick, Presidents
Jewish Federation of Edmonton & Edmonton Talmud Torah Society
