PRESS RELEASE

Dr. Jim Tunney, of Pebble Beach, California, is the 2017 recipient of the National Football League's prestigious Art McNally Award. He was presented this award at the summer seminar of the NFL's officials in Dallas, Texas.

The Art McNally Award is an annual award created in 2002 by the then National Football League(NFL) Commissioner, Paul Tagliabue, and given to an NFL game official who exhibits exemplary professionalism, leadership, and commitment to sportsmanship, on and off the field.
