Downtown Holiday Window Decorating Contest
We are pleased to announce that this year there will be 4 competitive categories that window decorating participants can vie for. Voting for the classic People's Choice Award will be online until Monday, December 11. The 3 new categories: Most ThematicBest at Night, and Most Fort Wayne will be juried by a committee of non-participants.

The Nutcracker
Arts United Center

Fort Wayne's original, favorite holiday classic! Join Clara and her Nutcracker on Christmas Eve as she celebrates with her family at her parent's party, then battles the Mouse King and his rodent army! Upon victory, the Nutcracker Prince takes Clara (and us) on a fantastic journey through the Kingdom of Sweets.

History Center

Enjoy The History Center for the last week of the 2017 Festival of Gingerbread. The public has until December 10 to view the 102 gingerbread creations!

Rudolph The Musical
Embassy Theatre

The beloved TV classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer soars off the screen and onto the stage this holiday season. Enjoy all of your favorite characters from the special including Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, the Abominable Snow Monster, Clarice, Yukon Cornelius and, of course, Rudolph, as they come to life in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical.

New Year's Eve Ball Drop
Returns with Real Ball, New Location

Festivities, which all take place outdoors, begin at 7 p.m. Dec. 31, and include music, food and beverages, a warming tent, and fireworks, the news release said. Admission is free and open to all ages, but people entering the bar areas will have to show proof they are age 21 or older.
