Ventana is pleased to announce the return to our inventory of two John Nieto paintings that have been on display at the United States Embassy in Warsaw, Poland, since September, 2013. With permission of the artists, Ventana has loaned major paintings by John Nieto to the Department of State for the Art in Embassies program, which arranges three-year exhibitions of works by iconic American artists in US. Embassies around the world. John Nieto's original paintings have been shown in embassies in Japan, Egypt, Peru, Bolivia, Venezuela, Thailand, Indonesia, Burma, Madagascar, Mauritius, Bahrain, New Zealand, and Poland. International exposure and acclaim could be viewed as a nice bonus to the aesthetic and emotional appeal already present in paintings like Grinding Corn and Courting Blanket, the two just returned to Ventana and shown below.
