JOHNNY MATHIS PERFORMANCE WITH THE BPO RESCHEDULED

Johnny Mathis was set to perform on October 13, 2012, as part of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra's BlueCross BlueShield Pops Series. Johnny Mathis will be undergoing a second right hip replacement on July 31, 2012 and his concert has been rescheduled to January 26. 2013. To keep the scheduled Pops series intact, Spectrum -- An Evening of Motown Classics, originally scheduled for January 26, 2013, will now be presented on October 13, 2012.

Subscribers to the full Pops season and those with the 7-concert Pops Series B will be affected by this date change; however, both concerts will still be performed. Subscribers who purchased tickets to see Johnny Mathis during the subscription process as a "special addition" to their package will receive their tickets in a few weeks with the correct date. The date exchange with Spectrum keeps the Pops Series B intact with the switch in artists being the only change; both artists will appear in that season package.

Those who purchased single tickets to Johnny Mathis to date and are unable to attend on January 26 may exchange their tickets for any other BPO concert. Refunds will be provided if other arrangements cannot be made. Subscribers may exchange tickets in their package for other concerts during Subscriber Courtesy Week, August 6-10, 2012.

Individual tickets for Johnny Mathis on January 26, 2013 as well as tickets for Wynonna Judd on September 29 and Holiday Pops featuring Ronan Tynan on December 14-16 will go on sale July 23 at 10:00 am. All other BPO single tickets will be on sale August 11, 2012.

The BPO regrets any inconvenience this many have caused, but the situation could not be avoided.
