The 2017 / 2018 Coloradans for Nebraska membership is available to be ordered in our online store or at one of our watch partner locations that has a volunteer present. Membership runs from July to July.
With Membership you receive discounts of 15% off of regular priced food and drink at our watch partner locations, member only pricing at Co4NU events, entry in member only drawings, and more.

Membership cards for 2017 / 2018 have a red border and states it is valid through July of 2018.

Volunteers Needed
Are you looking for a way to help provide scholarships to Colorado High School Students attending University of Nebraska? Will you please consider volunteering for a watch partner location? We will be working to staff with volunteers specific locations first to ensure resources are used the best way possible.
Please email Wendy or Brittany at
[email protected] with your availability for games and location. For a site to have items for volunteers, we need to have at least half the season scheduled with volunteers for a specific location.
We also need volunteers to help with many other portions of Coloradans for Nebraska activities from web site maintenance, emails, and more. Please consider donating of your time for our young adults.

Where to Watch Games When Traveling
There are chapters of the Nebraska Alumni Association throughout the world. There's a good possibility there may be a chapter or spirit group near your destination away from home so you can enjoy the game at another Sea of Red.
To find watch locations, vist the
Nebraska Alumni Site and choose the region you will be traveling too. Chapters always enjoy out of town guests!

Online Fundraising Auctions
Coloradans for Nebraska is working to create an ongoing online auction for game tickets, and other items. Our hope is that this will allow more people to help raise funds for scholarships in the comfort of their own home. Please look for the first auction to begin next week. We will send out an email with additional details as soon as our first auction is set.

Volunteers, Merchandise, Memberships, and Drawings
To make it easier for our volunteers, when volunteers are at a watch partner location, they will only be selling memberships, collecting donations, holding half time drawings, and answering questions / greeting guests. We may add limited Nebraska items to purchase to sites with volunteers in the future.
You can purchase your 2017 / 2018 membership online as well and it will be mailed to you allowing you to benefit from the 15% discount off of regular priced food and drink at our watch partner locations. In the near future, limited edition Coloradans for Nebraska merchandise as well as a few Nebraska items will be added to our
online store.
With the drawings this year, we are going back to all tickets going into one big drawing bucket and volunteers will pull winning numbers from the bucket for the prizes available. There will be general drawings and drawings for autographed items for current Coloradans for Nebraska members.

Join Coloradans for Nebraska and the University of Wisconsin Pikes Peak Alumni Chapter as we hold two joint watch parties this year in Colorado Springs.
On October 7, we will have the joint event at the Old Chicago off of Woodman to watch the football game that will be held in Lincoln. We will be holding a friendly contest of which group can bring more blankets and / or coats to be donated to donate to a local charity.
In January or February of 2018 we will have a joint basketball watch party at Tony's downtown Colorado Springs and have another friendly charity donation. As this date comes closer, we will provide you with more details. |
Flag Football - B1G Alumni Chapters of Colorado
Due to additional requirements by the parks department for the city/county of Denver, the B1G Alumni Chapters of Colorado cancelled the Flag Football Tournament in October at last night's meeting and will be looking to hold a Cornhole tournament on November 5th.
Wine Tasting Event Date Set
The 2018 wine tasting event with James Arthur Vineyards is set for Saturday, February 24th. Times, menu for a full dinner, and pricing has not been set yet.
At this time, JAV is looking to bring different wines than in the past and are looking to bring High Road (Dry Red Wine), Dry Vignoles (Dry White Wine), Vignoles (Sweet White Wine), and a Dessert Wine. These wines may be updated as we get closer to the event based on availability.

Football Fridays in 2017
Begin your Husker weekends this fall with other alumni and fans at Football Fridays! The NAA's event is back at the Wick Alumni Center for select home games and then also at select away games. Football Fridays include appearances by former players and other special guests; visits from the Husker Spirit Squad, mascots, and pep band; Husker football analysis; Runzas and Valentions Pizza for purchase, and children activities. Football Fridays are free and open to the public.

Coloradans for Nebraska does not contract with the University of Nebraska Athletics Department or Colorado Radio Stations to air Husker Sports in Colorado. There is a cost of these services of $25,000+ per year.
