Indiana Women's Caucus for Art

The mission of the Women's Caucus for Art is to create community through art, education and social activism. WCA is committed to recognizing the contribution of women in the arts, providing women with leadership opportunities and professional development, expanding networking and exhibition opportunities for women, supporting local, national and global art activism and advocating for equity in the arts for all.

The Indiana Women's Caucus for Art (IWCA) is a local chapter of the WCA, founded in South Bend, Indiana in 1978 with the mission of creating and expanding opportunities and recognition for women in art. The IWCA provides ongoing support for members, including exhibitions, workshops, conferences and professional projects and activities.

New Works from Indiana Women's Caucus for Art will be on exhibit until mid-January during regular business hours.

Needle Arts Group
Thursdays, November 3 &17
From 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Our Needle Arts Group knits, crochets, and does needlepoint for all skill levels. We provide instruction, and can supply materials if your project goes to charity. You can come to learn, bring your own project or help us with charity projects. For our current charity project we need: hats and scarves for children to adult sizes, men and women, ponchos, slippers and dish cloths (100% cotton).

Jewish Book Month Observance!

In addition to our many arts & crafts vendors we will be celebrating Jewish Book Month with a Used Book Sale! Come check out our

collection of gently used books donated by members of our community.

We will have story time at the top of every hour in the library,
and baby-sitting available for our guests while they shop.

* We will collect donations of used books through November 1, 2016.
