September is Sickle Cell Disease Awareness Month!  On Saturday, September 17th, an incredible community of Walk Heroes and volunteers, will come together to  Walk to Stomp Out Sickle Cell Disease and show their support for individuals and families living with Sickle Cell Disease. 
  
Funds raised will support GBSCDA programs and services.
  

Location: Franklin Park, (across from the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital), next to the Tennis Courts

1 Circuit Drive, Jamaica Plain, MA
Registration: Begins at 9AM
2.5 mile Walk/Run:   10AM
Health Fair, Kidz Zone and Multicultural Concert:  11:30AM
  • Commit to raising funds to provide resources for programs and services for people with Sickle Cell Disease
  • Win a prize for raising the most funds 
  • Enjoy the benefits  and inspiring experience of being a walker

  • Create your own group of  walkers or walk as an individual walker.
  • Help raise funds and awareness of Sickle Cell Disease in numbers by becoming a Team Captain or joining a 2016 Walk team.
  • Each walker must be registered and raise a minimum of $100 in order to receive a t-shirt.
  • Each member of a team must be registered separately and raise a minimum of $100 in order to receive a 
  • t-shirt.
