EDUCATION

Second Helping Orientation - October 17

This event, held once every other month, is a follow up to our Autism Orientation and goes more in depth about what we do not have time to cover in our orientation.  An autism professional will discuss evidence based practices for treating autism and introduce other important concepts for understanding and working with people on the autism spectrum. Click here for more info. Click here for reservations.

Workshop: Preparing for the Adult World: A Guide to Choosing the Best from the Resources Available - October 24

This workshop will review the major areas of need in a transitioning student's entry into adulthood, identify what supports are available, and discuss how to access these supports.  This event includes a question and answer session with representatives from Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Nashville Career Advancement Center, the Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and more!  Click here for more info. Click here for reservations.
