Jewel Lake Park Fix-It
It's finally here!

Join the Anchorage Park Foundation, Parks & Rec, neighbors, community volunteers, and local contractors for this year’s "Fix It" at Jewel Lake Park! 

When:  Saturday, September 9th, 10:30am-1pm

Where:  Jewel Lake Park (4342 W. 88th Ave.)

The Jewel Lake Park rain garden needs a makeover. Dress for weather, be prepared to get dirty, and help plant trees and shrubs to improve park drainage. T his is a great opportunity to help revitalize one of our neighborhood parks! Tools and lunch provided.

Jade Park Neighborhood Meet-Up
After the Fix-It, join me at Jade Park for a neighborhood meet-up! This is another great chance for us neighbors to gather for family fun, an opportunity to get to know each other, and talk about the issues that matter to our community.

When: Saturday, September 9th, 1-2:30pm

Where: Jade Park (9100 Jade Street)

Ice pops and hot chocolate will be provided (and not just for the kids)! Rain or shine event. 

Come by and let's chat. Everyone is welcome!
Last, but not least -- Trick or Treat in the Heat!
Bring the kids out for this highly-anticipated, early Halloween neighborhood celebration!

This is a great event giving kids the chance to do some trick-or-treating without the snowsuits, with 100% of proceeds going to three charities (Hospice of Anchorage, Make a Wish & Ronald McDonald House).

When: Sunday, September 10th, 5 – 7pm

Where: Muirwood & West Park Neighborhoods
