SaBaBaH Visits Skyzone
June 5 at 5:30 PM

SaBaBaH teens are invited to join us at Skyzone at 5:30 PM on Sunday. We'll meet at Skyzone for an hour of jumping before heading back to the Federation to chat and have food. Pickup will be at the Jewish Federation at 8:00 PM. The cost for this event is $15 per person. Please email Rowan at [email protected] to let him know you will be joining us. 
Shavuot and June Birthday Lunch
June 8 at 12:00 PM

Rabbi Shoshana Feferman will join us to talk about the holiday of Shavuot. We'll also celebrate our June birthdays. The menu will include all things dairy in honor of Shavuot. Make your reservation today to help ensure we have enough prepared food for all our guests! The cost for this meal is $5 with reservations. Needle Arts
Thursday, June 9 and Thursday, June 23
 From 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Our Needle Arts Group knits, crochets, does needle point for all skill levels. We provide instruction, and can supply materials if your project  goes to charity. You can bring your own project, help us with our charity projects, or come to learn.  For our current charity project we need: hats and scarves for children to adult sizes, men and women. We are also are looking for dish cloths (100% cotton), ponchos  and slippers.

Traffic Closings

Laurenz Place (Formerly Park Jefferson Apartments) will be repaving their streets and parking lots now through June 20th. Please keep this in mind when traveling to and from the Jewish Federation as it may add to your travel time, especially if you enter from the south entrance of Laurenz Place.

2016 Annual Meeting

Join us on Thursday June 16 at 6:30 PM for the Federation's Annual Meeting. Our Keynote Speaker  Dr. Jim Schrage is Clinical Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy, and three time Emory Williams Teaching Excellence Award from the University of Chicago. His speech is titled "Strategic Planning and Why Bother with it?" This speech is extremely relevant at the moment, as we have had a community committee working on a strategic plan over the past 18 months and  will be introducing it to the community at the Annual Meeting.
We will also be awarding our 3rd annual Schpok: Spirit of the Federation Award,our 20th Simon Leadership Award, and the Silver, Kapson, and Roland Scholarships.
