Jewish and Arab youth in Israel today lead completely segregated lives. Over the past eighteen years, Givat Haviva's Through Others' Eyes (TOE) project has provided twenty Arab and Jewish students, ages 16-17, with a unique way to understand the lives of their peers - through the camera lens. Visiting each other's homes, families and communities, and responding collaboratively through expressive photography, they become part of the less than one tenth of one percent of Israeli youth who have formed relationships with the "other".

Please join us and some of the 2018 Through Others' Eyes participants for a discussion about their experience in the program and a showing of their inspiring photography on Thursday, August 9, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Temple Israel New Rochelle
(1000 Pinebrook Blvd, New Rochelle NY).

Don't miss this special opportunity to view these photographs and speak with the participants.
