Mastering the Common Core:
Seamlessly Connecting the School Day to Afterschool
Friday, Session 3 - 11/21/14 - 3pm - 4:30pm
In an effort to demonstrate that afterschool programs offer more than just childcare services, participants in this session will discover how incorporating the Common Core Standards can boost their a programs to a higher level.
Simply put, our goal is to provide participants with a better, more clarified understanding of the Standards and how they can easily and successfully be incorporated into their afterschool programming. Session participants will become more comfortable navigating the Standards and are guaranteed to walk away with an idea or two that they can immediately take back to their programs.

UPDATE: NJSACC requested and was granted a waiver on the prohibition of in-State overnight travel that applies to school district staff. This will allow principals or other school district staff to stay overnight.
