For Christians fasting for 40 days is called Lent. For Muslims, fasting for a month is called Ramadan.  Both traditions are meant for reflection and to bring their faithful closer to God.  Not so very different right?

Join us this TOMORROW, Friday, June 24th for a very special
"Build for Unity" event at Masjid As Subur as we join our friends of all different faiths to come together for the "Iftar Feast" (the celebratory meal eaten by Muslims after sunset during Ramadan), break the fast, learn new things, and celebrate and raise awareness and funds for Build for Unity!

All are welcome and event is free to attend
(Build for Unity donations are encouraged)

Friday, June 24th from 7pm-9pm
Masjid As Subur; 4920 15th Avenue
