New York State Department of Labor Commissioner Roberta Reardon will deliver a presentation on the "State of Labor in New York State" at the Rockefeller Institute of Government on
Tuesday, November 28 from 10 - 11:30 a.m.
Commissioner Reardon was appointed by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo in October 2015 to oversee the Department of Labor's more than 3,300 employees. Prior to her appointment, she served as President of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) from 2007-2012, as founding Co-President of SAG-AFTRA, and she consulted for the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) as Special Liaison for Common Sense Economics. She also taught in the Cornell/CUNY Labor Relations Certificate program.
