Instead of fighting your way through the malls, waiting in lines fearing being trampled to death, or stuck in traffic on "Black Friday" come spend some comfy time at Coveted Yarn! Recover from the family chaos of Thanksgiving at our all day knitting/crocheting group. Start (or work on) your Holiday projects. Wear your cozy clothes, have some tea (we have various tea bags, bring your own mug), share some laughs.

* Anyone that comes in on Rainbow Friday will be given a Wish-list Coupon. You select the item and quantity that you would most like to receive as a gift this year. Write it on the coupon, take the coupon to a loved one, have the loved one bring it in and we will make sure you get what you want and the shopper will get a great deal!

* There will be an assortment of Holiday gift idea projects on sale to help with that (seemingly endless) shopping list.

Coveted Yarn will be setting up a
Mitten (hat, scarf, sock) Tree
to benefit the Grace Center

Ok, wonderful crocheters and knitters we have a new project here for you. I know the holidays are a crazy time for everyone, but here in Gloucester (as with everywhere I'm sure) we have some people in real need during the cold season. So, in response to this, we will be setting up a tree in the shop, that we hope to cover with ADULT SIZE hats, scarves, mittens and even socks, that will be donated to the Grace Center. The Grace Center is a day shelter currently available three days a week here in Gloucester serving well over 50 people. People who are down on their luck, living in one room, at the shelter and some that are even living in the woods. Let's help keep them warm this winter! As always, for every item (or pair of items) donated, the knitter will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate.
