New Year's Greetings from Lake Junaluska
Jack Ewing, Executive Director and CEOI am always excited at the beginning of the New Year. 2012 is going to be a very exciting year for Lake Junaluska. More detailed plans will emerge for the high level strategic plan that was approved by the Board of Directors in October, including some architectural renderings of possible renovations and new facilities. We will share those with you later in the year. The future is bright because of the number of people whose lives have been transformed here, who love this place, and who are willing to work with us to make an even better place. Thank you for being one of those people.

Grace and Peace,
Jack Ewing, Executive Director and CEO

Youth collect offering of $680 during first ski weekend

During New Year's weekend at Lake Junaluska, over 400 youth came to Lake Junaluska to celebrate the new year. Throughout the weekend, youth were able to worship, ski and praise with new friends and old friends.

Each season, Ministries with Young People (MYP) at Lake Junaluska collects donations for a special mission project. In 2012, all donations collected during the ski season will benefit the Open Door Ministries in Haywood County. The purpose of the Open Door Ministries is to feed the hungry, assist those in need, and to provide a safe Christian environment that offers Christ-centered educational programs and assistance to everyone.  Donations will continue to be collected throughout the winter season.

Lake Junaluska is proud to partner with the premiere ski areas in Western North Carolina. INFUSE ski weekends run through February 20, 2012.  Ski only packages are available. READ MORE
