Summer Reading: The Defining Decade - Pastor Tres
Imagine yourself sitting at the beach this summer, or in a hammock in your back yard, or in the passenger seat on a long car ride up north or to another vacation spot. Imagine perfect weather, pleasant company, and a book in your hand. But which book? Of course, the Bible would be a good choice! Consider reading one of Paul's letters as a summer spiritual practice or maybe one of the Gospels. In addition, the pastoral staff would like to invite you on our Summer Reading Sermon Series adventure. Each week the sermon will include themes from one of your pastors' favorite devotional books. Today we continue the series with the book The Defining Decade by Meg Jay.

But when he noticed the strong wind, he became frightened,
and beginning to sink, he cried out, "Lord, save me!" -Matthew 14:30
