We are excited to invite you to join us on our Lenten Challenge this year.  We have several opportunities for Lent and pray they speak to your heart during this beautiful time of year.   Lent is fast approaching, beginning on Ash Wednesday,  (and, this year, St. Valentine's Day), February 14. It is so easy to get distracted with the first few months of the year that we may awake on Easter Sunday and realize that we have neglected the Lord's call to each of us during the time of Lent.  

Pope Francis has stated, "Lent comes providentially to reawaken us, to shake us from our lethargy."  And Scripture says, " The point is this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do as he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that you may always have enough of everything and may provide in abundance for every good work." 
(2 Corinthians 9:6-8).

We at Women of Grace want to journey alongside you this Lenten Season as you grow deeper in your love of Him and His people. Let's allow our hearts to be reawakened, to sow bountifully for Him "who  has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens,  as he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and without blemish before him."

The Young Women of Grace study counters the cultural messages aimed at girls aged 12-17 with the good news about their dignity as daughters of God. 


Participate in our Lenten Journey with Mary, "In the School of Mary,"  free Women of Grace® Daily Gracelines Program.
Beginning Ash Wednesday, February 14, and continuing every day through Easter Sunday, April 1st, "In the School of Mary" will help you to prepare for Lent and Easter and to grow closer to the Blessed Virgin Mary and her Son, Jesus.  I pray it will be a holy time of retreat for you - a time set apart to enter more deeply into the gift of our Salvation.
