with guest speaker Avi Maor, Brig. Gen., IAF Res.
Thursday, May 5, at 7:00 PM

Our Yom Hashoah program in 2016 focuses on redemption and triumph with the showing of the documentary, One Flight For Us. The film reveals research and evidence that prove beyond doubt that the Allies, led by the U.S. and Britain, knew about the destruction of Europe's Jews and remained silent. Despite the ability to bomb the Auschwitz crematorium and the railroads leading to the camp, the Allies chose not to schedule a flight to stop the destruction of the Jews.

With this information in mind our guest speaker Avi Maor, helped to organize and took part in a flight over Auschwitz as part of the 2003 International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the purpose of which was to send a clear statement of NEVER AGAIN.
Be sure to join us to hear his story of a flight for us.
