findings and research available to the public. The Joint Committee chaired by Representative Holsman is a statutorily created committee that was reauthorized by the passage of Senate Bill 356 in 2011. Since then the committee has conducted a series of six hearings across the state, taking testimony from 47 different organizations with emphasis coming from growers and vendors within Missouri as well as national perspectives from places like Chicago and New York.
