Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parent Teacher Conferences are the evenings (4:00 pm to 8:00 pm) of February 13th & 15th. Classroom teachers have sent out an on-line sign up where you can find a day/time that meets your schedule. If you are not able to access the on-line sign up, please contact your child's teacher.

During conferences, th JES PTO provides dinner four our teachers. We are looking for a little more help. If you are able to donate food and/or monetarily, please use the links below for Tuesday & Thursday night. Can you believe that we are already having "spring" conferences? Thank you!!

Focus on FUN, not the FOOD!
As we approach Valentine's Day activities, families are reminded that our school would like to shift the focus on fun and celebration rather than worry and concern over food allergies and unhealthy, sugary foods.  Our district has adopted a Wellness Policy (#533) that addresses this issue.  We encourage non-food items such as fun trinkets, stickers, bubbles, pencils, etc.  It is much more fun for all the kids when they can celebrate together and not feel excluded.  Please be mindful when choosing Valentine's cards, as many of them may contain candy.  The State Department of Education requires that all food treats be store bought and wrapped.  Please do not send any loose candies in envelopes.  If you have any questions about your child's classroom please contact Nurse Marianne.Thank you.
Arts & Academics Night
Join us Thursday, February 22nd from 5-7 pm for Arts & Academics Night. This is a special evening that both showcases our students' artistic, musical, and academic talents, and raises money to benefit all our students. Holly Koenen, Shannon Orlowski and Bridget Boche have been working hard on getting silent auction and raffle items from local businesses. There is still time to make a donation to this event. We will be acknowledging some of the businesses/families that have donated for this event on Facebook and Twitter -- stay tuned. The link below outlines the what/where/who of the night's activities. We are also doing an Ice Cream Social this year. We will be having ice cream provided by The Social Ice Cream Parlor of Victoria. We will have a ton of toppings to choose from. Stop on by the cafeteria and have a treat! The link also includes an order form for raffle tickets and ice cream. Order forms are due back by Friday, February 16th. Tickets will be sent home the week of the 19th.
