Middle School Parent Preview Night
Calling all 5th Grade Families! Save the date for Parent Preview Night at Chaska Middle School East on Thursday, February 1st at 6:30 pm. Read more here 
February 8th - Two Hour Late Start
Student day is 10:40 a.m. - 3:10 p.m. Buses will pick up exactly two hours later than normal. Teachers work on professional development activities in the morning before students arrive. Please note breakfast is not available on late start days.
Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parent Teacher Conferences are the evenings (4:00 pm to 8:00 pm) of February 13th & 15th. Classroom teachers will be sending out an on-line sign up where you can find a day/time that meets your schedule. If you are not able to access the on-line sign up, please contact your child's teacher. 
Free Dental Care
Do you know a child who could benefit from free dental care? Right now participating clinics are taking appointments for Give Kids a Smile. Appointments are available on February 2nd & 3rd. Click  here  for more information. This is a free charitable event for kids who face barriers to accessing dental care. 
Join us for free family fun in February!
Hooked on Books...and the Arts, too ! Is a community-wide event celebrating literacy and the arts. This free event offers activities, dance and musical performances, art demonstrations, and a chance to meet this year's keynote author, Douglas Wood. The event will be held Saturday, February 24, from 9:00 am to Noon at Chanhassen High School.

  • Check backpacks early next week, as the Arts & Academic Night information will be sent home.
  • Thank you to all who braved the cold weather and supported the JES PTO at Culver's last Tuesday.
We will be having a working PTO meeting on Tuesday, February 20th at 6:30 pm.  Assembling baskets while talking PTO--coming join the fun!

Lost & Found
Please remind your student(s) to check lost & found for any missing items. Lost & Found is located across from the gym. Any item left after February 15th, will be donated to local charity.
