Judge Applicants Announced

The 31st Circuit Judicial Commission today released the demographic information relating to applicants for the vacancy created by the appointment of the Honorable Jason Brown to the circuit bench. The applicants are:

Chantel Alberhasky
Margaret Holden
Becky Borthwick
Jason Lessmeier
Sarah Donelan
Nancy Price
Wendy Garrison
William Prince
Reidar Hammond              

The commission announced that it will conduct public interviews of the applicants Thursday, September 24, 2015, beginning at 9:00 a.m., at the Missouri Court of Appeals, 300 Hammons Parkway, Third Floor Courtroom, Springfield, Missouri. The commission will select three nominees from the applicants interviewed for the governor's consideration. Governor Jay Nixon will have 60 days to appoint one of the three nominees to the position. The members of the Thirty-First Judicial Circuit Commission are: Chief Judge Mary Sheffield,  Andrew Bennett, Steve Garner, Steven Stepp and Joann Hosmer.

Magna Carta: Enduring Legacy 1215-2015  is brought to the State of Missouri by the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Foundation and hosted by Missouri State University at the Duane G. Meyer Library. Events and activities begin in September and culminate with the exhibit's two-week run in October.
