The Annual Rodeo Supper is not only a Chamber fundraiser, but a way for businesses to celebrate the success of the long running LRA Rodeo Finals hosted by the St. Paul Ag Society.  A great way to kick off a week of Rodeo and enjoy everything it brings to our community.

Rock The Block The Chamber, together with Champions for Change, the St. Paul Journal, will be encouraging everyone to come out and Rock The Block on August 16, 2017.  

Businesses, Not for Profits and Groups are invited to participate in this shop locate event.  This is an opportunity to promote your business and take advantage of the downtown, summer crowd.  Events kick off at 11:00am, with outdoor market, food and music. Boomtown will crank it up from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Cannabis Legislation
Want to have a say in the new Cannabis Legislation?   Albertans have an opportunity to share their thoughts on how the province should adapt to cannabis legalization. Earlier this year, the federal government introduced legislation to legalize cannabis. If passed, the bill could become law by July 2018.  To learn more about cannabis and share your input to inform how Alberta adapts to legalization click here -  the deadline for feedback is July 31, 2017.

PCN Companion Project
  Lakeland Primary Care Network is working on a project to provide companionship to aged and mobility limited individuals throughout their PCN area, which includes our community.  To successfully develop and deliver the program, PCN will be making application for grant funding, which will require support and partnerships in the community.
