Meet Your Clinician
Bobby Siverd, CO
How did you get into O&P?
What started out as a summer job working in the lab at Coastal Prosthetics and Orthotics quickly turned into a career for me. Born and raised in Virginia Beach, I spent two years at Penn State studying Kinesiology. When I returned home, I started working at Coastal as a technician in the lab where I learned all about the intricate fabrication of orthotic and prosthetic devices.
I earned my Bachelor's degree from
Old Dominion University
and went on to complete my Orthotics Certification at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in 2009. I returned to Coastal Prosthetics and Orthotics where I completed my Orthotic Residency. I immediately began working as an American Board Certified Orthotist at Coastal upon completion of my residency. In addition to being a CO, I am also an
American Board Certified Prosthetic Assistant
. I have a special interest in working with pediatric orthotic patients.
