Summertime! Picnics, hikes, vacations...and fundraising! CASI is busy planning the exciting events that will get us to our first $200,000 goal. Yes, we are close, but we aren't there yet. The seemingly endless duties of fundraising...events, planning, and implementation can, admittedly, leave me frozen in place during these hot summer days. Yet as Mark Twain so eloquently said, "the secret of getting ahead is getting started." This attitude of embracing opportunity is what has moved CASI along over the last three years and has helped get the shelter on Carson City's priority list. Keeping that in mind helps me work through the CASI list, and I invite you to join in the efforts!
-Do you like to golf? Be a part of the Barracuda Golf Championship team and help CASI in the admissions trailer. Call Chuck at 925-300-6485.
-Love putting on a party? We could use your help at our 6th annual Bark, Whine and Dine scheduled for August 29 in the Fuji Park Exhibition Hall. Patti can be reached at 775-720 4048.
