Entrepreneur Of The Month Spotlight:
The Collaborative Group

Building Relationships:
Collaboration Is The Foundation For This Group's Success

The Collaborative Group is an assembly of five well-established companies who are in the commercial construction and the construction supply industries. They all experienced hardships during the financial downturn of 2008 that put many contractors out of business.  As a result, this resilient group of contractors and suppliers came together and quickly understood the benefits of working together to leverage their resources and to reach new levels of success.  Now they are growing their businesses at The Enterprise Center where they have offices and convene monthly meetings to mentor each other, share information, and plan for the future.  Some group members have over 50 years of construction-related experience and by using their teamwork approach, they have won contracts to perform work on several Winston-Salem area construction projects including Old Vineyard, Quarry Park, Salem Lake, and Sedge Garden Park. They truly represent the meaning of the word TEAM: TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE!

Mr. Virgil Cobb, owner of The CINDA CORP., is one of the founding members of
 The Collaborative Group.
