Happening later this month is the famous Ann Arbor Art Fair - which is really four art fairs in one event.
The Ann Arbor Art Fair is one of the largest outdoor art fairs in the nation. During the Art Fair, the streets of Ann Arbor transform into a paradise where you can experience and enjoy original artwork, street performances, culinary treats, and sidewalk sales.
The Art Fair combines both highly contemporary works alongside very traditional crafts including glass, painting, ceramics, photography, jewelry, fiber, wood, and more.

Section 2 - The new Audio Research Reference Amplifier, the REF 750SE has landed! Among numerous circuitry updates, the 750SE features a tube upgrade from the KT120s to the KT150s. We are astonished at how remarkable the REF 750SE's sound, and just when you thought that ARC could not get any better!
Section 3 - As part of their popular Generation 5 updates, Transparent has released new digital cables. The New Gen5 Digital Links include: High Performance Ethernet cables, Performance HDMI cables, and High Performance HDMI cables. Our own Theater 1 has been outfitted with these High Performance HDMI cables - and we noticed the cables significantly improved our new 4K viewing experience!
Section 4 - The first model of Audio Research's new Foundation Series has arrived! The new LS28 Line Stage is now on-display at Paragon - and we could not be more pleased with its look and spectacular performance.
Section 5 - McIntosh has announced three new products to be released in August 2016. Find limited information below, with more details in next month's newsletter.

The new flagship amplifier, the Reference 750SE features an upgrade from the KT120 to the KT150 output tube, as well as a number of active and passive parts changes. The sonic improvements over its predecessor are dramatic.

Transparent Gen5 New Digital Cables
New High Performance Ethernet:
The all new Transparent High Performance Ethernet is ideal for network audio and video applications where low-noise performance is critical. High Performance Ethernet exceeds Category 6 specifications for the highest signal integrity, and its heavy-gauge, solid OFHC copper conductors maintain signal strength and bandwidth over long lengths. Insulation separates signal pairs to prevent signal-crosstalk. Heavy, die-cast RJ45 connectors control vibrations and make ideal contact.
New Performance HDMI: Generation 5 Performance HDMI cables have sturdy, molded gold-plated locking connectors and solid, low-loss OFHC conductors. The cables are available in lengths up to 50 feet. With the help of a proprietary signal boosting circuit on longer lengths, all lengths of Performance HDMI are certified High-Speed and HDMI 2.0 Compliant with a minimum 18Gbps signal transfer speed. Performance HDMI is ethernet compatible and supports all current and future HD Video and Audio formats. Transparent HDMI cables are CL2 and FT4 rated for in-wall installations, and typical rack lengths are slender and very flexible for easy installation.
New High Performance HDMI: Generation 5 High Performance HDMI cables are constructed of heavy gauge, low-loss OFHC conductors. Superior cable construction and shielding reduce noise and improve picture quality. With the help of a proprietary signal boosting circuit on longer lengths, High Performance HDMI is HDMI 2.0 High Speed Compliant with 18Gbps transmission rates to support future formants. Die-cast HDMI connectors provide superior mechanical stability and improved connectivity.

Audio Research is pleased to introduce the Foundation Series. From the same engineering and design team responsible for the award-winning Reference Series, the Foundation family of vacuum tube components has been created to provide incredible musical experiences. The LS28 line stage is a flexible and intuitive preamplifier. Four balanced and four single-ended inputs, and two sets of both balanced and single-ended outputs, allow maximum connectivity. The straightforward menu allows control of numerous parameters, including input naming, tube hours, auto shutdown, and home theater passthrough. Phase invert and mono are also standard functions. At the heart of the LS28 are four 6H30 vacuum tubes in the analog circuit.
