July 2017 Zack's Place News Letter
June in Review

In June we enjoyed many educational, artistic, sports and fitness programs. We started a much needed renovation in our art room and kitchen, thanks to a grant from the Timken Foundation, The Agnes Lindsay Trust and the Kauffman Foundation. Our board member Ron Jaynes has been working every day on the project. In the meantime we were temporarily located at Woodstock Rec Center, Pentangle and now we are at Woodstock Elementary School until the end of July. It takes a community!
In June we swam, did yoga, cooked, did art classes, went bowling, had crafts classes, science class, nutrition classes, watched movies at Pentangle, rode bicycles with Vermont Adaptive, attended farm programs at Billings, sang with Kerry, visited Norman Williams Library, played games with Carl, had photography classes. We walked the Toonerville Rail Trail, we had a cast party and watched our play on the big screen at Pentangle, we went riding at Moonrise Farm, we hiked at Mt. Tom, and played golf at Woodstock Country Club. This week we are swimming at Silver Lake, going to the Christa McAuliff Space Center and going to VINS!
We are a lucky group!

Everybody thinks volunteering at ZP is glamorous. What we do without Ron Jaynes. Thank you Ron!
