Mark your calendars for the Summer Book and Paper Sale!
Join us in August for this extra special sale of books, ephemera, original art, prints, cards, postcards, sheet music, classical music CDs, illustrations, advertising, vintage magazines, puzzles, and more! Many of the items in this sale were from the collections of the late Jack Jackson, former Cummaquid resident and longtime patron of Sturgis Library. He was a librarian at the Boston Athenaeum for over 30 years. He collected books on all topics with an emphasis on art, music, gardens, poetry, archaeology, and literature. He saved every piece of paper that ever crossed his desk, and frequented the discard room at the Boston Athenaeum and the art section at Morgan Memorial (now known as GoodWill). He had an extensive collection of vintage sheet and piano music, as well as classical music CDs, some of which will be in this sale. In addition to the books belonging to Mr. Jackson there will be a variety of additional books including collectible coffee table books, books on Cape Cod and Massachusetts, maritime titles, vintage and antiquarian books, and multi volume sets.

Collectors, paper crafters, book and paper lovers, music aficionados, and bargain hunters will want to attend this great sale.

The sale schedule is as follows:
