Tours & Talks at the Eastern Region Conference: Registration is Open!
 
Our IPPS Eastern Region Conference will be held this year near Philadelphia & Baltimore in Newark, Delaware from September 23-26.  The 4-day event includes one full day & two half day tours, 25 talks by both international & domestic horticulturists on production & propagation, silent & live auctions, a poster session, a special evening presentation & more!  Student scholarships are available to allow qualifying students to register for free! Did you know there are 30 public gardens in the area you can visit on your own? Illinois Area Meeting Rocks! 

The July 11th Area Meeting held at Intrinsic Perennial Gardens received rave reviews from its nearly 50 attendees!  Morning talks were followed by afternoon tours to nurseries in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin on a beautiful summer day.  Get the scoop complete with photos HERE

Eastern Region Funds HRI Research Grants

The IPPS Eastern Region supports research through its fund with the Horticultural Research Institute. Each year, IPPS grants are awarded by HRI to fund research projects carefully selected by IPPS and HRI.  This year the Eastern Region grant allocation is $4300.  Click HERE for more on the IPPS/HRI relationship and HERE for more on the projects selected for funding in 2018.
