FFeast of St. Mary & St. Martha Gathering
Tonight at 6:30 p.m., all members and friends of St. Timothy's who are active and excited about the parish and her direction are invited to join the Vestry and Father Steve in the church nave to pray Psalm 96 and talk about how to boldly embody this new song. Today is also the Feast of St. Mary and St. Martha, two appropriate patrons for this discernment. Tomorrow's Noon Service
The Wednesday Noon Mass will resume tomorrow, July 30 in the Chapel with Father Steve Rice celebrating Holy Eucharist. Father Bob McGee has returned from vacation but will be visiting with his physicians tomorrow. He hopes to return to celebrate at the following Wednesday (August 6) Noon Mass.

RDonate to Peace Camp

Peace Camp starts tomorrow at Seven Springs! Peace Camp is a collaboration between St.Timothy's and Anthony's Plot. There are 30 children registered--including kids from St.Tim's and kids from the neighborhood surrounding Anthony's Plot. You can support this wonderful outreach camp with your prayers and by donating to offset the cost of camp (meals, lifeguards, and materials). Thanks to the many staff and volunteers who are making Peace Camp possible for kids who would otherwise not be able to go to camp! Please contact Minister with Children & Outreach Katie Bryant (336-765-0294 ext. 301) for more information.

transfiguration TFeast of Transfiguration
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the Church for the celebration of Mass for the Transfiguration. Celebrated every year on August 6, this feast celebrates Jesus' radical change of appearance while in the presence of Peter, James and John, on a high mountain (Mt. 17:1-8; Mk. 9:2-8; Lk. 9:28-36). The Gospel of Matthew records that "he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his garments become white as light." At this moment Moses and Elijah appeared, and they were talking with Jesus. The Transfiguration revealed Christ's glory prior to the crucifixion, and it anticipated his resurrection and ascension. A potluck picnic in Drake Hall will follow the mass at 6:30 p.m. St. Timothy's will provide hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill with condiments, dessert and beverages. Please bring a side dish to share.

2014 Youth Mission Trip Participants
St. Timothy's Director of Formation and Development John Roberts summed up the 2014 Youth Mission Trip, "I was thankful to see a group of middle and high school students who treated each other with kindness, humbly served in areas that may not have been their first choice, respected their leaders, and had a ton of fun! Most of all, I am thankful there were lots of opportunities for our students to grow in their faith. Now I pray that all of us continue what we learned on this trip by allowing ourselves to be transformed by Jesus and to help transform the world for Jesus."

Congratulations to St. Timothy's members Doug and Lynda Sanecki on the July 23, 2014 birth of their first granddaughter and fourth grandchild, Laia Petrina Sanecki.
